Consett Codgers kept their 100% winning home record intact against a more youthful barnard castle team. The final score resembling a cricket score with the Codgers winning 53-52. The Codgers have now fielded 58 different players this season and look forward to their next match on Friday 31st March at home to Alnwick vets.

A quick visit to Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal today to see the Autumn colours and catchup on the Deer rut. For some reason I haven’t visited the place for about 10years although I’ve been a NT member throughout. Time to put this right and enjoy the location in all its autumn glory.
